Welcome Lech Wałęsa.

Podorowsky Thompson & Baron was pleased to welcome Lech Walesa to Connecticut. The Nobel Peace Prize laureate and former President of Poland stopped in Connecticut during his tour of the United States in support of Ukrainian refugees in Poland following their country's invasion by Russia.

Mr. Walesa's visit included a private function at the New England Air Museum where he viewed an exhibit on the famed Polish Kosciuzko Squadron and a gathering sponsored by the World Affairs Council of Connecticut at Hartford's Infinity Hall.

The son of Polish immigrants, Attorney Adrian Baron was on hand to present Mr. Walesa with an award from New Britain's Polish community to honor his work with Poland's Solidarity movement.
